Behind every Weavira saree is a family, often three or four generations deep, whose livelihood and identity are tied to the loom. In clusters like Bargarh and Sonpur, weaving isn’t a trade learned in a classroom — it’s inherited, watched, and practiced from childhood.

We work directly with these weaving communities, because the craft only survives if the people who carry it are seen, credited and fairly paid for the months of work a single saree can represent.
